Terms & Conditions For The Language Lock In

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using Language Lock In ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, platform, classes, and programs (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). By creating an account, purchasing a program, or clicking “I agree,” you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Language Lock In provides digital language learning services, including live online classes, coaching sessions, structured programs and challenges, and educational content and materials. We may modify or update any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has approved your participation.

4. User Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Programs, Payments, and Billing

5.1 Program Structure

Language Lock In programs are fixed-term programs, not cancel-anytime subscriptions. By enrolling, you are committing to the full duration of the program and the full payment amount, whether paid upfront or through a payment plan.

5.2 Payment Plans

If you choose a payment plan, you remain responsible for the full cost of the program. Payments will be charged according to the agreed schedule. Stopping participation or failing to attend does not cancel or reduce your payment obligations.

5.3 Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise. This includes program fees and payment plans. Failure to attend, complete, or participate in the program does not qualify for a refund. Certain challenge programs may include deposit-based incentives, which are governed separately under Section 7.

5.4 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, restrict access to the Service, or suspend participation until payment is successfully completed.

6. Classes, Attendance, and Conduct

6.1 General

Classes are subject to availability. We may modify schedules, instructors, or content at any time. We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.

6.2 Attendance

Members are expected to attend classes they book. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions or removal from booking privileges.

6.3 Class Conduct Policy

Members must behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and other students, participate actively in classes, and keep their camera on unless otherwise agreed or reasonably prevented. Recording, filming, photographing, or sharing any part of live classes or class content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from classes or termination of access to the Service without refund.

7. Challenge Programs and Attendance Based Offers

7.1 General Structure

Certain programs offered by Language Lock In may include attendance based incentives, such as deposits, guarantees, or conditional refunds (collectively, “Attendance Based Programs”). These programs require participants to meet specific participation criteria in order to qualify for any reward, refund, or credit.

Program-specific requirements, including duration, number of classes, attendance frequency (for example, a set number of classes per week), and completion conditions, will be communicated at the time of purchase or on the relevant program page. These requirements form part of these Terms.

All classes must be attended live and in full to count toward completion. Partial attendance does not count.

7.2 Deposits and Completion

Where a deposit is required, it functions as an attendance based incentive and is only eligible to be returned if all program requirements are met within the specified timeframe.

Upon successful completion of a qualifying program, participants will be contacted with instructions to claim their reward. This may include booking a “winners call” or completing a verification step.

If a participant does not receive communication within 2 days of completing the program requirements, they must contact support@languagelockin.com within 2 days to request access.

Where a winners call or similar step is required:

  • The participant must book the call within 7 days of receiving the invitation
  • Failure to do so will result in the deposit being issued as class credit by default

To be eligible for a cash refund (where applicable), the participant must complete all required steps, including attending the winners call. After completing the required steps, the participant will have 7 days to choose between receiving the deposit as a cash refund or as class credit. If no selection is made within this period, the deposit will default to class credit.

7.3 Non-Completion and Disqualification

If a participant does not meet the required attendance or completion criteria within the specified timeframe, any deposit or attendance based reward is forfeited in full. No refunds or credits will be issued.

If a participant books a class and does not attend the full session, it will be recorded as a “No Show.” Receiving more than one no-show may result in disqualification from the program, depending on the specific program rules. Attempting to cancel after a class has already started is considered a late cancellation and is treated as a no-show.

Failure to meet minimum attendance requirements, including weekly participation requirements in certain programs, will result in ineligibility for any reward or guarantee. Eligibility is determined solely based on attendance and participation data tracked by Language Lock In.

7.4 Repeat Participation

Participants may enroll in multiple programs. However, certain rewards, including cash-back incentives, may be limited to one claim per user, as specified in the program details.

7.5 Fair Use and Enforcement

All participation must be genuine. Classes must be attended live and in full, and participants must follow all class conduct rules.

Any attempt to manipulate attendance, exploit the system, or engage in disruptive or abusive behavior may result in removal from the program without refund and loss of eligibility for any reward, credit, or guarantee.

8. Guarantees

8.1 Black Belt Fluency Guarantee and Next Belt Guarantee

We offer performance-based guarantees for members who follow the program as designed. These guarantees are based on consistent participation and adherence to the rules outlined below.

8.2 Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the 12-month Black Belt Fluency Guarantee, you must attend a minimum of 3 live group classes per week for 52 consecutive weeks, totaling at least 156 classes. You must attend classes in full, actively participate, and maintain an active membership throughout the entire period.

For the Next Belt Guarantee, the same principles apply over a 6-month period, with the expectation that you reach your next belt level within that timeframe.

8.3 How to Claim

If you meet the requirements and have not reached your target belt level, you must contact support@languagelockin.com within 14 days of completing the applicable period. We will verify your attendance and eligibility.

8.4 Outcome

If approved, you will receive continued access to group classes at no additional cost until you reach the target belt level, as assessed by a Language Lock In instructor, or until you choose to stop using the Service.

8.5 Limitations

This guarantee does not include monetary refunds or compensation. It is non-transferable and applies only to the original participant. Failure to meet attendance requirements, repeated no-shows, or violations of any program or conduct rules will void eligibility.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and services provided by Language Lock In are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or share any content without prior written permission.

10. Disclaimer

We do not guarantee specific language learning results or outcomes from general use of the Service. Progress depends on individual effort, consistency, and participation.

Certain programs include attendance-based guarantees that provide continued access to the Service at no additional cost if specific conditions are met. These guarantees are not refunds and do not promise results within a fixed timeframe, but instead ensure continued support until the defined outcome is reached.

Except for such explicitly stated guarantees, the Service is provided on an “as is” basis.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of income, loss of data, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, disrupt the Service, or if it is necessary to protect the platform or other users. No refunds will be issued unless required by law.

13. Communications

By using the Service, you agree to receive service-related communications from us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. If you are a consumer in the European Union, mandatory local consumer protections may still apply.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may notify users by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
